Teresa, owner of T Designs and has been involved in the design and implementation of web based solutions for more than 15 years.  I provide consultation and strategic project participation in respect of  web based knowledge, content & document management solutions, web portals and internet solutions.  I conduct research / governance formulation / solution recommendations / facilitation for functional requirements / project documentation / end user adoption strategies.

IT Specialist: Portal Design and Development, ICT Business Solutions Unit at DBSA, a large Development Finance Institution (2000 to June 2013)

 

I managed the business application (SharePoint) as a shared service to the entire enterprise: designed information architecture and site development, user management, content management, search optimisation and related consultation to enable decentralised content ownership and management.

Intranet, extranet and internet design and development - internal to the Bank and externally focused to the Bank's clients.  I designed, developed and successfully implemented, inter alia, the following web portals:

 

• DBSA intranet development 2003 – 2008

• DBSA internet website development 1999 – 2005

• 2010 Soccer Stadium Management Portal (linking DBSA, SA National Dept of Sport and Arup Project Office and hosting cities as a document management portal and dashboard view of stadia progress)

• The SA Greenfund website - 2012

• Local Government Resource Centre Portal– Municipal knowledge sharing and document management Portal from 2003 – 2013.  This included the development and roll-out within the portal of 283 SA municipal secure sites and various SA Government sites, i.e. COGTA, SALGA, North West Dept of Local Government, Western Cape Dept of Local Government.

• Web Analytical portal usage reports

• In-house DBSA electronic surveys and analytical result reports

• Custom web applications, i.e. Vulindlela Academy student/course management system, DBSA innovation system, ICT help desk rating system and DBSA Records Management file request system and services evaluation system.
